Collection: Grant Noble Surfboards
Grant Noble Surfboards represents the sleek, style-driven craftsmanship of Costa Mesa, California shaper and surfer Grant Noble. Raised in a family steeped in motorsports, Noble spent his early years racing dirt bikes and BMX before discovering surfing in his teens — a late start that quickly gave way to a natural, flowing style shaped by mentors Tanner Barrett and Tanner Prairie, and the tight-knit creative community around Blackie's Beach in Newport Beach. A pivotal trip with Alex Knost helped push his surfing into the spotlight, and today Noble is recognized both for his progressive approach in the water and for the handshaped boards he builds on land.
Every Grant Noble surfboard is shaped entirely by hand, a deliberate choice to keep traditional craftsmanship alive in an era of CNC production. Noble's range spans fish, twin fins, mid-lengths, and longboards, each built around feel rather than spec sheets — "if it doesn't feel right under your arm, it's not right" is his guiding philosophy. His boards have earned recognition through events like the Icons of Foam shaping competition and the Duct Tape Invitational, and collaborations with respected shops like Daydream Surf Shop have introduced his designs to surfers up and down the California coast.
Freeman Street Surf Studio in Oceanside, CA is proud to carry Grant Noble Surfboards — shop our selection of handcrafted longboards, fish, and twin fins built by one of Orange County's most exciting young shapers.
